Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn recently revealed that the Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special on Disney+ will be set as a “Marvel Studios Special Presentation” which serves as the “phase 4 finale”. While at Comic-Con, Gunn said the special was a “fun” to work on, following it up by telling Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 Might be his favorite movie.
Gunn replied that the holiday special was a pure joy. “Volume 3 was very difficult for a billion reasons, starting with its size and complexity. It might be my favorite movie but it might not have been my favorite shooting experience, other than the love I have for the whole team.”
